XBingo becomes Mandalay’s Busiest Site in Record Time

XBingo.com is the newest brand from online bingo house Mandalay and they’ve just overtaken another of Mandalay’s biggest brands Costa Bingo, in terms of active players on the site.

XBingo was only launched in June 2011 so it is a huge achievement to knock sister brand and big time player Costa Bingo off the top spot especially as Costa is a well-established brand with two years behind it and so XBingo has done sterling work to surpass their stats. In fact, a recent industry report showed Costa to have an 8% share of the whole UK online bingo market so XBingo’s growth is truly exceptional.

The Mandalay Media Group was formed by Richard Skelhorn and Alex Holt in 2009 and currently has ownership of four bingo sites using the Dragonfish/888 software platform; they have clearly used all the experience and knowledge gained via these sites to create their own successful super-site XBingo, using their own next generation platform of bingo software. In addition to XBingo Mandalay also own Costa Bingo, Sing Bingo, City Bingo and Fancy Bingo, all of which have their own success stories.

Mandalay have a huge amount of experience and obvious talent, as the new software platform that XBingo is powered by is rising rapidly up the leader boards; showing itself to be a worthy competitor of the leading brands out there. The software itself is a complete innovation and has been designed for the benefit of international markets; the platform was extensively trialled by facebook users when they were invited to play online bingo games at XBingo in a Beta test. Its creators are now hoping after such a great success to launch the software fully to the market in 2012.

There are many elements to contribute to the speed and success of XBingo but Richard Skelhorn believes the integration of social media has been absolutely key to the brand’s superfast development and popularity. Skelhorn explained that a Facebook marketing strategy for recruiting and retaining players was essential and that combining it with a beta test phase, drew in an exceptionally large amount of players.

Skelhorn explained in a recent press release how he and his partner Alex Holt are confident their software platform is going to continue to make a significant impact on the bingo industry and the growth statistics from the UK are a great beginning and a stepping stone to bigger and better things. Mandalay has set their sights on the wider international market and with the success in the UK it seems there’s no reason they can’t succeed.
