Bingo Hideout readers beware of internet fraud this Christmas

Met Police’s central e-crime UnitBingo Hideout and The Buzz readers should be aware that with fraud on the increase and with the run up to Christmas that they are shopping online at sites that are legitimate. Luckily for online shoppers the Metropolitan Police’s central e-crime Unit along with the Trading Standards, manufacturers, The Office of Fair Trading and Consumer Direct site have managed to not only identify a huge amount of rogue internet shopping sites but have also closed down 1,219 of them.  The sites mainly in Asia are run by criminal networks that have been specifically targeting the UK consumer market offering fake designer goods.  This years Christmas ‘must-haves’ like Ugg boots, Tiffany jewellery and ghd hair stylers are just some of the high value goods that some of these websites have been offering all of which were either counterfeit, poor quality copies or in some instances were not even delivered after purchase.

Robbie Williams friend found hanged in Wiltshire – read Bingo Hideout

Robbie WilliamsBingo Hideout readers who are big fans of Robbie Williams may not have heard the news that a close friend and hair stylist to the pop star has hanged himself.  The shock suicide was carried out in woodlands near to the superstar’s home in Wiltshire, and insiders say that shortly before Aaron Vickers death he was in a huge row with Robbie Williams. The full details of the argument are not known although there is much speculation in the press that the two friends had a fall out just prior to Mr Vickers death.  If an article published  in the Mirror is true then it would seem that Mr Vickers had been accused of spreading rumours about a ‘friend’ of Williams who was ‘in a sham relationship with a woman’ and had been asked to leave the property owned by Robbie Williams as a result of spreading gossip.

Bingo Hideout wonder if the real Tiger Woods is the wife!

Mrs Tiger WoodsBingo Hideout has been reading the news about Tiger Woods ‘car accident’ which left him hospitalised over the weekend with interest.  It is alleged that Tiger was ‘accidently’ in collision with a fire hydrant as he left his house at 2.30am, however there are a few factors that just seem to throw doubt on the explanation of how the accident occurred. Bingo Hideout have been analysing the evidence and there are a few strange factors that have been reported in the media that maybe gives a whole different angle to the baffling series of events.

What terrible news could have made the Bingo Hideout girlies be so sad on a Friday morning with the weekend ahead?  Well the terrible news that had reached Bingo Hideout HQ which had got the girls in a spin was that our favourite sex god and chunk of hunk Robbie Williams had announced his engagement to girlfriend Ayda Field. The news was all over the internet that Williams had proposed to Ms Field live on Australian radio, meaning the girls in the Bingo Hideout office were never likely to fulfil their dreams of becoming the next Mrs Robbie Williams (delusional some might say!).

mother-in-law problems?The team at Bingo Hideout could not believe an article published today in the Mail regarding a special mother-in-law rate at the Holiday Inn for those customers who dread the annual Christmas festivities spent with the in-laws.  This is not a joke apparently, but a genuine service that the Holiday Inn hotel chain are offering customers who are unhappy to spend the holiday season gritting their teeth and smiling sweetly at the mother-in-law.  The offer is a pretty good deal too, with 25% discount given on room rates between 23rd and 29th December across the whole of the UK Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels group.

John and EdwardThe guys in the Bingo Hideout office are gobsmacked that now Katie Price has left I’m a Celebrity get me out of here, that there is a rumour that ITV are hoping to replace her with Jedward.  The dire duo, John and Edward are apparently being courted by the bosses at ITV and have Louis Walsh negotiating on their behalf.  There is a reported offer of £50 grand a piece now on the table and Jedward’s ex-mentor is trying to get ITV to up the bid, to what he believes to be a more realistic figure.  Clearly ITV believe Katie Price will be much missed by the public and now need extra fodder to bug munch in her place.

Katie PriceBingo Hideout were surprised to read this morning that Jordan aka Katie Price has finally given into public will and quit ITV I’m a Celebrity, walking out of the reality TV show after being voted seven times for the bush tucker trials.  The reason for our surprise in the Bingo Hideout offices is that we believed that Katie Price would never give in, as she is so determined to get her space and face on all the tabloids, broadsheets and internet news and gossip columns (Bingo Hideout’s The Buzz included) that we felt that she would be there till the public finally voted her off.

X Factor has come to its senses as Jedward leave – Bingo Hideout

X FactorReaders of the Bingo Hideout gossip column The Buzz will know that we are big X Factor fans, however the same can’t be said about our feelings towards Jedward, so with some relief we can now report that a shock X Factor decision means that John and Edward have now left the show.  Not that we have anything personal against Jeward, they are lovely boys however the truth is that they were the weakest act in the show from the beginning.  Far greater singers have left the X Factor show and it was with bated breath that the guys and girls of Bingo Hideout all watched the judges making their final decision in the great X Factor vote off.
