Wink bingo 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Just had this email off Wink bingo.

Alias: sadie680

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Sadie,

I am writing because as you are probably aware, the cashback that was credited to your account for last week was incorrect.

I would like to sincerely apologise for this on behalf of myself and the team and assure you that we take this issue very seriously and will make sure that it never happens again.

You probably thought we were just being extra generous but we actually did make a genuine mistake and you received £6 cashback too much for the period 28th April to 4th May.

Therefore we have now reversed the extra funds credited to your account in order to rectify this mistake.

Once again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you in advance for your understanding.

Yours sincerely,

www.winkbingo.com

CAN THEY DO THIS?

It was their mistake, not mine, its now left me with - funds in my account!

Well I hope they do get back soon with an answer soon, I'm sure £6 isn't a lot of money to Wink Bingo!

It's not is it?

It's not the money, it's the principle

I never asked for the cash, they gave it

Still haven't heard anything back yet

Mornin all...... Just had an email back off them, im still not happy, has anyone got any idea's what to say to them when i reply?

Dear Sadie ,

Alias: sadie680

Thank you for your e-mail.

I can confirm that per our e-mail last night, there was an account adjustment
to your Wink Bingo balance.

There was an error in the crediting of the 10% cash back for the period of
April 28th - May 4th. This meant that many accounts had the wrong credit made
to their accounts.

We have worked to correct this error by adjusting your account balance to
reflect the correct pay out for the cash back as stated.

While we appreciate this means a sudden change in your balance, we thank you
for your understanding and patience in regards to this issue and hope that
this has not harmed your relationship with Wink Bingo.

We endeavor to offer the best service possible and I can assure you we have
worked to ensure such an incident does not occur in the future.

If you wish to discuss this issue further, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Regards,
Cory.

Its a tricky one this! I can see this from both sides, you weren't to know that there had been a mistake so as far as you were concerned it was your money but Wink could actually be seriously out of pocket if this has happened on a lot of accounts.

It seems to me that they have done everything correctly, they informed you of the mistake as quickly as possible and in theory it is there money so they are entitled to it. It is just a frustrating situation that should not have happened, I think though we have to believe Wink when they say they will work hard to ensure this does not happen again, they have got a pro setup and are determined to make a success of Wink.

I guess its just a mistake, we all make em!

i know what your saying is right Ben, but they took the money from my account without informing me 1st, which in turn has left me minus in my account, if they think for one minute that im going to fund that account again, they have got another thing comming. Im going to find another site to play with.

Going to change me user name to moaning-minnie

Ahh I see, I didn't pick up on that bit! I can see that taking it without informing you is not going to make you a happy lady. So in theory you have not lost anything but if you were to fund your account again you would lose £6? Well I guess that isn't going to happen from what you have said!

Sadiebabe that is absolutely disgraceful by WinkBingo.

£6 and they take it back???

What about Foxy Bingo who paid out £50,000 by accident when their jackpot was supposed to be £500

WinkBingo should take the example of Foxy and give you back the £6 and apologise.
