Just a word of advice, Last night i recieved an email from Jackpotcity.com, promising me £500 free play, which = 30 minutes of free play. http://www.jackpotcity.com/casino/eng/index.aspx?currency=pound&?trd=1&MU=xp
Good i thought.....i downloaded it, signed in as a guest, and guess what....no free play unless i registered as a listed player,
So....i registered as a named player, and it wanted me to either deposit or just register my bank details. I registered my bank details because i thought i would have the 30 minutes free play, and low and behold.......you can't just register your card details, you have to deposit.

Me being me, was straight on the phone to them to have a moan, but after 27 minutes on the phone i still hadn't got through . I haven't got plenty of money, so couldn't afford to stay on the phone any longer, so i left it, and thought that i would email them this morning.

I turned my pc on this morning, and my AVG automaticaly starts up scanning, because of this site...i have ended up vaulting 53 virusis!!!!!! and 21 trojen horses!!
thankgod i was protected.
I have taken the jackpotcity.com download off my pc, and given my pc a thorough going over with my AVG, my pc is now running as normal
I have emailed Jackpotcity.com and im waiting for a response, will let you know what they say....if they say anything.

Please be careful when downloading some of these sites, and if its sounds too good to be true....it probably is!

WOW that's a scary situation! I don't think the virus protection software likes many of the online gaming downloads but this sounds particularly bad!

Let us know what they say. It might be worth scanning the downloads before installing them in future, and we should do a test of JackpotCity's on a clean computer!

We have got in touch with our contacts at Jackpot City about this, we will let you know as soon as we get a response from them. We don't like it when Bingo Hideout members are unhappy with a site that we advertise so we do our best to get to the bottom of the problem.

Thanks Ben, will be interesting to see what they say, as i haven't heard anything back. It might even be something they don't even know about.
But the only 3 sites i was on last night, was this one, Ebay and my Hotmail account, and the only link i have clicked on was theirs, it couldn't of come from anywhere else.
I was just as annoyed with the bonus issue, but thats nothing compared to viruses.

UPDATE!

Thanks to Ben, who got in touch with Jackpotcity, i have just had a lovely phone call off Angelo, who asures me that the company has checked all the downloads that have been done last night from all around the world, and nothing has been found.
So unless my wireless broadband has been intercepted somewhere, He assures me the viruses and trojen horses have not come from them.
He took time to explain what they have done, and agreed with me that it was a good idea to keep your antivirus on when downloading programs on the internet (mine was turned off at the time ).
Angelo also said that they were experiencing high call volumes last night which is why i probably didn't get through.
So.....although i had problems, i must say, their customer service is A1
So! all's well that ends well

Just to let everyone know.........This site promise you a bonus when you have had problems with them (you have to deposit 1st though) and then they don't follow through with their promise.
Their customer service stinks! , and im glad you didn't get rid of the thread Ben

Because of the problems i had with them....i was offered £15 as a way of saying sorry for the problems i had, as long as i deposited £10 first. I had to contact Angelo to tell him i had deposited, and he would add my £15 onto my account.....needless to say....im still waiting, and ive had no contact back from them.

I rest my case
