altOnly last month, we saw Paddy Power Bingo make a move over to the Virtue Fusion network with little to no prior warning, having previously used Parlay Entertainment software since its creation. Then, earlier in October 2012, we heard rumour that Vernons Bingo was also gearing up to make the same leap.

The move for Vernons has now taken place, and they’ve left their G2 Gtech Digital Gaming software biting the dust. Interestingly, it seems that both affiliates and players weren’t kept very informed about this switch, and if you visit their homepage, you’d actually be hard pushed to notice any difference at all. However, look a bit closer and have a good dig around, and you’ll start to see all the familiar Virtue Fusion favourites, such as networked promotions, and big-money games like BingoLinx, which gives players the chance to win a share of £8k every day, and £10k on the last Sunday of every month.

Sadly, the decision to move over to VF comes with a price; there’s now no longer an 80-ball offering, which may come as a disappointment to Vernon’s existing players. However, there’s no doubting the perks that come with now belonging to such a well-established and respected platform, as they join the ranks of the big boys like Virgin, Mecca, Ladbrokes and William Hill. The site has also introduced a new daily free scratch card game, where all funded players have the chance to win up to £500 a day without having to part with a penny.

Members with ‘old’ accounts can continue to login as normal, and should find that their existing balance has automatically transferred over. New members who are eager to see what the fuss is all about can register for a limited time using bonus code ‘3579’ and pick up £1 of free bonus cash to try the games out with. There’s also a generous 200% welcome bonus for new depositors, which could make you as much as £200 of extra money.

So why the sudden exodus of online bingo networks onto the Virtue Fusion platform? Well, many people think it has something to do with the rumoured National Bingo game that’s due to launch soon, but will only be available to sites belonging to the VF network. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if any more sites ‘jump ship’ over the next few weeks…

If you’re a player at Vernons Bingo, we’d love to know what you think about their new offering!
