Playing online bingo is always enjoyable, and the thought of benefitting from a very big win playing bingo or one of the other online games makes playing all the more exciting. Glen Johnson is counting his lucky stars after deciding to play Crown Bingo as a distraction whilst his wife attended a worrying hospital appointment. Glen who is housebound was unable to accompany his wife Julie to hospital for the tests on a growth in her throat, so opted to play the Lucky Ladies 88 game at Crown Bingo. After placing a relatively small £2 bet, Glen managed to scoop the biggest payout that Crown Bingo has ever made - an astounding £240,000.
When Julie arrived home Glen was excited to tell his wife his thrilling news about his Crown Bingo win, but unfortunately Julie had her own news to deliver. The hospital had told Julie that she could possibly be suffering from throat cancer and so she had to have a biopsy on the growth.
Glen and Julie have two children and live in Knowle West, Bristol, both suffer from health problems which makes leading a normal life challenging and difficult. Glen is housebound due to the spinal problems and although Julie also has disabilities of her own to contend with it doesn’t stop her caring bravely for her family. Glen is hoping that the win will allow his wonderful wife to have an easier life. Glen 43, worries about Julie who soldiers on caring for the family, doing domestic chores and running the family about regardless of how she feels, Glen believes that “she deserves a medal” for everything she does.
Obviously for the family Julie is the main concern, although they are excited about winning such a large jackpot at Crown Bingo, they can’t really celebrate until they know that Julie is ok. Glen hopes the win will allow him to spoil the family and also to purchase some much needed mobility equipment including a special scooter that will allow Glen to be a lot more help to his wonderful wife.
Our congratulations go to both Glen and Julie on their fantastic Crown Bingo win but more importantly we hope that Julie gets the all clear from the hospital very soon, so that they can begin to enjoy their good fortune.
