The interactive gaming organisation which owns, NetPlay TV plc has entered an agreement with Virgin Media Television in which they will take on the production of the Challenge Jackpot website, TV channel on Virgin Media, Sky, Bravo 2 and Virgin 1 plus all associated branding until 30th June 2013.

The NetPlay TV group will continue with its current entertainment activities which include the gambling websites,, SuperCasino and EuroTeleMillions whilst operating the Challenge Jackpot brand on behalf of Virgin Media. The agreement will see Virgin Media taking a 9.9 per cent stake option in NetPlay.

NetPlay as part of the deal will add the complete business assets of Challenge Jackpot to their portfolio from the current providers Two Way Gaming Ltd. The £2m deal will allow NetPlay to add the 16,000 customer base and accounts of the Challenge Jackpot brand to their own group database. The deal will also see the current Managing Director of Two Way Gaming Mr Guy Templar transferring with a few other members of staff to the NetPlay TV group.

NetPlay TV acquired the brand in April 2008 to add to their already large portfolio of interactive gaming services. The new acquisition is seen by Martin Higginson the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer as a huge asset that will allow a broadening of the gaming services offered to customers. Mr Higginson sees the company gaining more and more stability and is already anticipating adding a new brand to their bingo portfolio, which will see the becoming more of a European brand.
