We started out playing bingo to get a holiday, became total addicts and are now having a holiday to get more bingo. The girls and I have decided to have a trip to Blackpool to see the sites and have the bingo experience. As we all started playing on line we're keen to go to the halls, clubs and arcades while we can although holdays apart, home comforts and any time acccess of on line bingo take some beating for me.
Clearly lots of ladies play halls and on line but I have spoken to a lot of ladies who wouldn't consider on line bingo as they've heard sites don't pay out on bonuses and they want to walk away with their money. They like having a set amount of money and not getting carried away aswell as people watching, being surrounded by friends and having to mark their own cards. For a lot of them time away from home is a treat. All agreed that if their local hall closed they would play on line.
Is the day coming when we see bingo parties ? Bring a bottle and your laptop or drive in bingo like the cinemas where you have a big screen and hook up. One thing is for certain whatever form it takes bingo is a crocodile rather than a dinosaur and keeps reinventing itself. From a child's game to a church prize fund raising event to a nationwide jackpot, personal computers and everything inbetween. It is evolving but in no danger of extinction. Sadly the same can't be said for us so while there's life left in us we are going to grab it. Bingo biddies on a binge in Blackpool !
