Well the Blackpool trip was a resounding success.Blackpool and bingo were made for each other. Bingo babes paradise and lots more fun besides. We must qualify now as fully fledged with a whole weekend and such variety under our belts. There was hardly any time for the big dipper and candy floss and I think a longer weekend is called for next time . The lights were amazing and the winnings good not to mention the welcome and company everywhere we went. If the weather doesn't dampen your spirits and crowds don't phase you the world's your oyster.

We're all familiar these days with pre-nuptual agreements but are we going to see pre/lottery/scratchcards/bingo etc agreements in the light of the recent well publicised battle in Glasgow over the million pound bingo win at Mecca Bingo's Forge hall ? Clearly there's more to this story than meets the eye but with winnings reaching so high maybe there's a need for a more formal footing with our gaming friends and family. What started as a few women sharing a few pounds has become life changing sums of money and High court drama.

Well the good health bingo guide went down like a lead balloon. Some felt a better idea would be bingo's answer to Jamie Oliver and school dinners ie cocktails and lobster, when news broke of the Gala Coral employees from all over the country who are about to tackle Mount Everest to both boost funds for their nominated charity, Sue Ryder Care and to set a new world record for the highest game of bingo . Some hideout staff had to be reassured that it wasn't a trend as a few of us have a stuggle getting up stairs on a bad day but it seems fitness and bingo are compatable as training for the event has been on going at national landmarks such as Blackpool tower. Speed bingo training to compensate for decrease in brain power at altitude has also been undertaken. Three cheers Gala Coral for having such fit and up for it staff members we wish them well and look forward to hearing all about it. They intend to play a new improved version of Gala's aptly named High 5 game.

We have come up with a rescue recipe for bingo halls everywhere. Instead of outdoor facilities for smokers, unhealthy snacks and alcohol we reckon they could be the new face of fitness ! Research shows that playing bingo is helpful in the teatment of dementia. Walking, running or cycling to the hall could see pounds dropped and physical fitness improved dramatically. Holding and using hand weights could even see the demise of the much publicised bingo wings. Once there the players could sample the delights of low fat snacks such as carrot batons and fruit slices washed down with the occasional pineapple smoothie. For the really keen nicotine patches could be provided and ballroom dancing in the intervals.

Having an interest in all things bingo and dramatic Joy has come up with an idea for the local amateur dramatics society. Hackney being too far away for a day trip to see the play Joy has written one of her own. Set in a local bingo hall it's the story of a group of friends and their ups and downs, personal and bingo. It starts with a campaign to keep the hall open after the smoking ban and increase in taxation. A group of ladies have been on a trip to London to lobby MPs about the tax increases and much is said about their adventure aswell as all the traitors who have gone over to on line bingo, cheap booze at home and as many fags as they can smoke.

A friend had a walking holiday in a remote part of Romania recently and took a photo of a "bingo" hall for me in a small town. Pity he didn't have a chance to go and experience bingo Romanian style to compare. It makes our Blackpool trip seem tame and makes me wonder what the most unusual bingo destination is ? I am sure true bingo fans would take the opportunity to play wherever they found themselves.
Bingo Day has gone all international and bingo portals have members from all over the world. Bingo could be doing more for world peace than our politicians.

We started out playing bingo to get a holiday, became total addicts and are now having a holiday to get more bingo. The girls and I have decided to have a trip to Blackpool to see the sites and have the bingo experience. As we all started playing on line we're keen to go to the halls, clubs and arcades while we can although holdays apart, home comforts and any time acccess of on line bingo take some beating for me.

I had thought the only good reason for branching out to a new site was a good sign up bonus or promotion but I've been amazed at both the choice and variety of content on different sites. It's not always a case of right or wrong, good or bad but what suits just now and how adventurous you are. For instance Virgin will match a first deposit up to £100 but you can earn V points to top up your account or exchange for Virgin products including experiences like drivng a porsche or gliding.
Bingo for blokes is the perfect antedote to pink and purple but Bucky is short for Buckingham bingo with eleven clubs aswell as online playing so more neutral unlike Think bingo which is very girly and awards Think points as their loyalty sheme.

In the new spirit of branching out and pushing our luck, too much choice is a problem. Lucky people are said to have lots of contacts and take time to listen so friends are a good source of information, and bingohideout does alot of the hardwork with updates and promos but there's always the tried and tested gut feeling.
William Hill, founded in 1934 and a very well known name in gambling went on line in 2008 and with it's very blue and serious home page would appeal to the no nonsense men who are intent on business. Rock solid. The machoest man would be at home here.

How often have you heard someone say"You've gotta be in it to win it "and" He who dares wins ?" Two of the many principles of success or good luck. In other words we have to be prepared, in the right place at the right time and play the games. With this in mind and watching Bingohideout for the best promotions the girls and I decided to check out more sites instead of sticking to our favourites . Loyalty schemes are appealling but variety can be good too and at least with on line bingo we can't be banned from a site for visiting a rival one.
