In my previous article I spoke about how I had never been a chat host prior to helping a friend out when her site launched. Well now I'm about to tell you a few things that you may not know about what is involved in being a chat host.
Chat Games
Every time you play a chat game at an online bingo site do you ever think about what is involved for the chat host? A pen and paper is the most invaluable tool of the trade for all chat hosts. You, as bingo players, know how many people are in the room so let's use a well known chat game and go through what is required from a chat hosts perspective.

This week's hot topic is 'what are the benefits
to playing free online bingo'? Bingo Hideout has put together the
definite guide to playing this fantastic version of our favourite games
for those of you who might still be in any doubt about giving it a try.
1. Registering on a free bingo site means
you will not have to share any account details over the Internet. Despite
most sites having encrypted software, which guarantees the security of
your details, some players are still reluctant to play. However, this is
a way of enjoying all the fun of bingo play without having to give out
your card details.
2. Choosing a free bingo game
means you can join in all the fun of chat and still be in the
running for prize draws and even cash prizes, at no cost to
yourself. Playing Internet bingo for free still allows you to
be a part of the community and sites such as
freebingo.co.uk
still reward players simply for sending in photos for their player profiles.
3. All the features of most online bingo
sites are found on most free sites - and you can still play in themed
rooms and even play tourneys. As with normal play, you will receive
bonuses for referring a friend so you can encourage your mates to join
in the fun and no one will ever lose.
4. The freedom of gaming on the Internet
is still applicable to free online bingo. You can still play 24/7 on
most sites so as a way of battling your insomnia or filling in half
an hour free bingo games are the perfect solution.
5. These sites are sponsored by bigger
pay to play sites, so just by playing you will be kept on top of the
best free offers elsewhere. Check back with Bingo Hideout reviews to
see what the advertised site is like, of course, but as a quick reference
to what's available these sites are great.
6. The anticipation of a win is
still as exciting in the game of bingo whether you play for free
or pay for your strips, and if you lose at free bingo, your account
always reverts back at a set time in the month. This means you can
play forever and may even pick up a prize or two on the way. You
may never win a million playing for free, but you can still make
friends and have a laugh. That's what bingo is all about folks! |

Bingo Chat Hosts When someone I knew launched her own online bingo site I was more than keen to try my hand as being a bingo chat host - after all I'd been a player, then an affiliate and all I had left to try, other than run my own site, was to be a chat host.
I will admit to anyone that when the site launched it was mostly a case
of the blind leading the blind. We had all been bingo players but it
really is a different kettle of fish being on the other side of the
screen. We knew what we should be doing, and what we had really enjoyed
about other chat hosts but putting it into practice was more than a
little nerve wracking.

Men & Bingo I am male and I love online bingo - there I said it; but would I say the same thing sitting in the pub with a bunch of my mates? erm probably not to be honest. I don't know if its a male pride thing or whether it's just me but there seems to be a stigma attached to bingo, it's a place for women, a place for a girly night out, a place full of blue haired grannies where no man fears to tread. What makes bingo such a forbidden world?
I have sat around before now chatting with friends about playing online poker and have always gotten grunts of approval because as we all know poker is a mans game, a place filled with testosterone, lager and large cigars - where have these crazy ideas come from?

Online bingo lingo part 3 Yipee! We've finally reached the Top of the Shop - and the final
part of our bingo lingo series. This week we're looking at numbers 61 - 90 and
hoping to finally have made all things bingo lingo clear for you so the next time
you're in the running for the jackpot you know what to listen for. Most of these
calls are based on rhyming slang – such as 'flea' in place of the
number three, but others describe the visual representation of the number being
called. This is why the number two is commonly referred to as a duck and the
number seven, a crutch.

Online bingo chat Most of the Internet bingo sites around focus a lot of their
attention on promoting chat between players. The reason why online bingo is
keen to reward member profiles is to build a sense of community within the
site and guarantee that members come back even if it's just to check in
with their friends. With great chat games and bonuses to play for in the live
chat it is a very popular way to boost loyalty points or follow patterns for
ongoing tourneys.
Joining in the chat if you're a newbie can
seem quite intimidating as roomies often talk in acronyms but once you're
familiar with these you'll soon discover the many things you can get out
of being an active part of the chat room.
Whether you are a newbie to online bingo or even if you've been
playing for ages, a brilliant way to get noticed by other players is to create
a fun profile for others to look at so they can get a sense of who you are.
Bingo chat is all about openness and roomies often respond to players better
if they can read about you while chatting. |

Here at Bingo Hideout, we are here to inform, and so here
is part 2 of our informative bingo calls run-down (read
Part
One ). Here we are studying numbers 31 to 60, and we have included as
many explanations as possible for the, sometimes obscure, rhymes. You may
not find some of the calls you're familiar with if you play a lot of
online bingo as some sites use their own bingo lingo, but we hope to have
covered all the most popular calls for anyone who's not familiar with
the rhymes. |
